Did the government make it easier to get approved for credit for the people of the states that were struck by huricane katrina? Such as lousiana or alabama?

Are there any laws that state, if you are not approved for credit then it does not go against your credit score?

  1. SPIFIMAN1 says:

No that would violate several laws both Federal and State and cause massive lawsuits.

I know it sucks, but Katrina was 3 years ago. Lenders are going to look at current earnings history, not what people made 3 years ago and go oh, how sad, you used to make more money, let me lend you some….
