I am a 70 year old man, that has a chance to purchase a new 3 bedroom house for payments less than the rent on my 3 room + bath apartment. When our Government bailed out the banks, I stopped paying on my credit cards. Thinking that I would never need a good credit rating for the rest of my life. Because of my limited income, I will never apply for another credit card. On one credit card I have a judgment against me. Two weeks ago I paid all of them off, including penalties. My credit score needs to be raised from 580 to 620 in order to get this home loan.
My question is, would it help to expedite the process if I would send to the three credit reporting agencies copies of my last credit card statements, collection agencies statements and bank statements with the details of the collection agencies withdrawal transactions? Please provide your credentials or web links. Thank you so very much for your help.
laz<3 I am sorry that I gave you a head-ach. Perhaps if Ronald Reagan would have taken over ,000 a month of socilal security benefits away from you as he did me and deregulated the Glass Steagall Act of 1933,(As well as other Presidents since)that was put in place to prevent Recessions and depressions. This consumer protection act. has been completly abolished. The deregulations gave the wall-street banks and insurance companies, like AIG the freedom to construct Pyramid pnnzi type schemes, without capital to back them up and allowd traders to bet on risky investments. My old Webster Dictionary defines Capitalism (unregulated) as such, (It has been generally characterized by a tendency toward concentration of wealth) The ascension of wealth. These are the things that has angered me. If you are an intellegent person with an open mind, perhaps you could learn a great deal about our Government and the acts in the last 29 years that has caused this mess. truthpolitical@yahoo.com
