I hold a credit card with an American Bank .However my SSN is wrongly entered by the bank. I have accumulated good credit over 1 year. Now I have identified that the SSN is wrong and corrected my SSN. Do I lose all the credit score that I earned for the past 1 year. Is there anyway that I can reclaim it?
When the bank gives details about the my credit to some government agency ( which typically computes my credit score) do they submit it with the information from the time the account has been started or for the past 1 month or so? In the later case I think I will stand to loose all my credit history.
